It's just what the doctor ordered: the perfect hangover cure. A time-proven, age old trick, commonly referred to as the "Hair of the Dog", asserts that downing more alcohol the morning after is scientifically proven to ease a painful hangover—well, for the short term, at least (read more here).
The "medicinal" looking supplements below can serve two purposes: mojitos-on-the-go frozen into smartly packaged "tablets" for fashionable cocktail mixing ease—as well as a quick way to mix 'em right back up the morning after, "Hair of the Dog" style.
Luxirare's Tablet Vs. Tablet project was inspired by an odd comparison: the self-medicating drive to drink—a cure for emotional problems—versus the medicinal fix for that previous night of emotional "healing":
"Since alcohol and alka seltzer both have medicinal properties (one psychological/social, the other physical), I focused on both as medicinal 'tablets'. Here I thought making frozen mojito tablets to be diluted into a drink the same way alka seltzer dilutes into water would be a fun gimmick. Also, I've always had the problem of preparing the drink for myself; every time I want a mojito in the comfort of my home means that I have to head out for fresh mint and limes."
Expertly conjured, and beautifully photographed (as always), Luxirare's process images look like a mad alcohol alchemist was hard at work in the lab.
